What the Plan looks like:
VR Semester Unit Project Plan
(3 Weeks)
* You will be turning in:
Planning Guide (20pts)
1. Choose a topic that your VR Application is going to be about or used for…
What is it about?
Is it a game? If so, what is the objective?
What is it going to be called?
2. Environment Description:
(describe the scene, architecture style, appearance and structure, assets and props)
What will the final scene look like?
What type of props/assets will you need?
3. Research:
Research for the VR Environment.
What if anything has inspired you for this project?
Are there any book, literature or media references?
Reference Images:
Theme References-
(the images could be any of the following: blueprint, room photo, furniture reference, and props photos) You can choose to place your images here, or provide a link of your pinterest board, or provide an external web link created by you.
Add at least 10 reference images here!
Texture References-
(the images could be the textures for your scene: walls, floor, carpet, table, TV, countertop…) You can choose to place your images here, or provide a link of your pinterest board, or provide an external web link created by you.
Add at least 10 reference images here!
Assets Research-
(the 3D prop files you plan to download from Unity Assets Store) List the name of the asset here and provide a screenshot of what it looks like.
Find Assets (5 or more) and add a screenshot of packages here!
Sound Research-
(the sound file could be door opening, ambient sound, background music, TV sound, radio, coffee machine…, and eta. List the name of your sound files here; sound file needs to be .wav or .aiff)

Organization of space/attention to detail -40pts
Time spent wisely in class/working to fullest potential in time given -50pts
Completed product following all guidelines listed above-60pts
Correction Submission Format-10pts
Image w/QR Code to Video-20pts

- 20+ Downloaded Assets
- 10+ Textures that you find yourself or make to add in
- 5+ Sound Files
- First Person Controller or Third Person Controller with Proper Camera use
- 1+ Use of a C# Code Function

As you build over the three work weeks that we have- feel free to test your build!
What to look for?
Overlap- if you see flashing scenery you might have more than one thing touching or overlapping in your scene.
Gaps- look for items that should be touching that aren't!
Function- can your controller get through the scene? Can you walk through assets?
How to transfer?
1. Use a flash drive to transport your ZIP build folder.
2. Email or add Build ZIP to your Google Drive. Sign into your account to download on VR computer.
